Accessibility


This location is moderately accessible. Its plain is open uneven ground with slight ground inclines. Also the home to a family of geese so you must watch your step!


At certain seasons this location has beautiful thick wild grass aka "wheat fields". When posing clients here the grass is thick so good flat shoes is ideal.

Things to know.


If you’re hoping for that warm, golden glow during your session, it’s important to let me know ahead of time. I always aim to capture that light, but I don’t typically reschedule sessions due to cloud cover unless you specifically want to prioritize that look. Since that lighting depends on clear skies, we may need to adjust the date if the weather turns out to be too cloudy.

Seasonal Changes


This location holds a timeless natural beauty, though its character shifts with the seasons. In spring and summer, the landscape glows with warm, golden light, illuminating everything it touches.

By peak fall—between October 20th and November 5th—the scenery reaches its most vibrant moment, as the trees transform and display their rich autumn colors.

In winter, the atmosphere changes again. The light becomes cooler and less golden, and as the trees shed their leaves, the landscape takes on a more open, contrasted, and quietly striking appearance.

The wheat fields

The wheat fields offer an iconic sense of timeless simplicity, creating a setting that feels both natural and effortlessly elegant. As these fields are maintained by SCDNR, their schedule is carefully managed and subject to change, which means the timing of each harvest cannot be guaranteed.

For those drawn to the soft, flowing beauty of the wheat, a degree of flexibility is essential. To ensure a seamless and polished experience, I offer a selection of thoughtfully chosen locations:

Location A — The field by the pond, our primary and most sought-after setting

Location B — A secondary field just five minutes away, nestled in the heart of Ninety Six

Location C — An additional location in Greenwood, near the old Walmart, featuring its own pond. This option is available for the full session at an added rate of $25 per 30 minutes

Each location has been selected to maintain the aesthetic and quality of your session, ensuring a beautiful result regardless of seasonal changes.
